GOLDEN SPINACH & FETA SPANAKOPITAS (VEGETARIAN)

with Leo’s Little Jars’ Tomato Chili Chutney (Serves 3-4)

These flakey golden pockets of spinach and feta are utterly scrumptious. Topped with a spoon of sweet and slightly spicy tomato and chili chutney from Leo’s Little Jars, and you have yourself a banging combination.

"You ideally want to bake these close to serving. They don’t necessarily need to be piping hot, but they are best eaten warm."

Recipe 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Spread out the frozen spanakopitas on a baking tray. Place into the hot oven to bake until golden and crispy, about 45 minutes, turning them halfway for even colouring.
  • In the final few minutes, turn the oven onto the grill to speed up the process if necessary.
  • Serve warm on your feast table with Leo’s Little Jars’ Tomato and Chili Chutney on the side.
