Make your own herb sugar dusting with this interesting take on a classic fruit salad. Alternatively you can use your favourite granola instead.

Finely chop a fresh herb of your choice (we recommend basil, thyme or mint) and mix with a tablespoon of sugar.

Chop a handful of grapes, two apples, one peach and a banana. Place in a bowl with some dried cranberries. Squeeze over a little lemon juice and toss to coat.

Sprinkle over the herby sugar or choice of granola and dig in, and add a dollop of yogurt for that creamy layer.
CHEF’S TIP
You can blend your herb of choice and sugar in a food processor for a finer dusting.
